She enjoyed reading books, playing Bingo, Acrylic painting, and listening to music. She was a member of Truevine C.O.G.I.C in Houston, TX where she taught Sunday school and served in the Music ministry as organist and singer. She also worked as a Medical Assistant in a Plastic Surgeon’s Office in Houston, TX.
She was employed at Sears and Roebuck Company for 17 years and worked in the Accounting Department in Houston, TX. She attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA and Houston Community College, Houston, TX. She graduated Mossville High School, Mossville, Louisiana in 1960. The family relocated to Mossville when she was age one.
